Cristina Lafuente is a Geological Engineer (UPC) with a Master’s Degree in Ecoarchitecture and Bioconstruction (UdG), and has spent 15 years working on the management of geological and natural risks in various fields: from the sustainable management of torrential waters in developing countries, to technical consultancy for risk management in high-speed rail infrastructure construction projects, and also in the deep tech industry for the strategic development of new ioT technologies for risk management and early detection. Today, iRap Estudio promotes new ways of understanding territorial development that allow coexistence with the natural dynamics of land and water, risk mitigation and climate resilience.
